Birthsite: Watulka south of Kiwirrkura W.A.
Language/tribal group: Ngaatjarra / Pintupi
Historical: Ningura was married to the late Yala Yala Gibbs Tjungurrayi. They had lived in the desert until meeting up with one of the welfare patrols led by Jeremy Long, after which they settled papunya. Ningura now lives in Kintore with her family.
Painting: Ningura paints the Tingari stories that relate to her traditional homeland around Kiwirrkura. The Tingari contains secret knowledge and translations of designs are not often provided.
